Combined Minds was founded more than eight months ago. It started as a tutorial website, adding at least two tutorials a month. By surprise the site was a huge success, more visitors than we dared to imagine. But there was one slight (huge) problem… Nobody was willing to register an account? If you think about it it's very logical, what does Combined Minds has to offer you at the moment? Well you can reply to a tutorial or article. But of course to register an account for such a small matter, only a few were interested. And even if people registered, only seventy-five percent activated the account, and only a hand full used it. That's why we got our minds together, and thought why this was.

The solution is simple, just give people what they want. Make Combined Minds interesting, give people a reason to come back, to read, and to post messages. In the meanwhile you might have noticed we haven't written many tutorials lately, as you can guess now… We were busy writing and designing a whole new Combined Minds! By the first of November you will experience Combined Minds: Sunrise, the second version of Combined Minds. This time with news, interesting articles and of course a Forum. Also a new appearance, looks are important for a website. We're sure you will like the new Combined Minds, but you have to wait a little while.

Even though a new CM is coming, we are already thinking of the future. Combined Minds will never me done, a website can always be better, and more fun to read. To give you an idea, in the future we'll do more in the bright world of Open Source. ;-)
